Sand Removal
My annual migration to Fraser Island is planned this year for April 27th to May 6th. As expected ironpaw also has some sand to deposit on the island and we have come up with some invites that will be distributed shortly.
It is important that all sand is expunged regularly and not more than about 12 months apart. Sand leakage can occur at embarrassing or difficult times if not treated properly and regularly.
The most efficient sand removal fluid is a solution containing usually 5-8% ethanol alcohol but this can be applied a lot stronger, it is not uncommon to use up to 17% and occasionally up to 42%. The cheapest known source of this is usually beer but cask wine or pre mixed sugar water cans are also cost effective.
