Brendan and Mai’s Wedding

Today was the western style wedding of Mai and Brendan, a very good wedding indeed. Being male getting clucky over these things will cause my sexuality to come into question, so I will only
say it was a fantastic day, Mai was beautiful and confident, and Brendan was the man!

I got a little sunburt which highlighted my trademark sunglassestan[tm], but I don’t remember getting that much Sun, I won’t feel it after a few more drinks anyway. Tonight we are celibrating informally with Mai and Brendan in the Valley.

Fraser Island 2006

Today we printed and distributed invitations to the Fraser Island Drinking and Fishing Expo 2006. This is not to be confused with the Toyota Fraser Island Fishing Expo 2006 which attracts so many people it makes Fraser Island more like peoples day at the ekka.

You will see there is a “Taco Free Zone” sign which is there to protect both taco and non-tacos alike as there is no amenities at all which can often cause an excessive amount of background noise. Admittedly it does qualify this event as a sausage sizzle, but the aim of the event is to filter out the sand and deposit it in a helpful manner to the environment, not to impress women with excessive alcohol consumption and the killing of fish.

Hope to see you all there….

Always the last to know!

I was trolling around the interwebs and ran across some photos that Brendan (known as Brenny on blogspot) has not yet disclosed to us, of his traditional Vietnamese wedding on the weekend. Seeing we have all heard so much about the Sydney wedding, I thought it is only fair that we share the love. I’m sure you can get all the updates soon on the Maistar & Brenny Adventures blog.
